Everything posted on this site is full of racor and extremely divisive. However, if this information were true and even honestly believed by it's authors as fact, it would be more legitimate. But the distortions, the twisted perceptions, the fears and even the lies... makes this "blog" void of any credibility. If your purpose is to split the Guild from East to West, this misinformation will go a long way towards that goal. If however, you are only afraid and really wish for the Guild to build bridges for a better future, then it would serve you better to try to create a dialog between the factions. So I ask you, what is your goal? What do you want? By continuing this divided front between us, you will perpetuate the distortions and rancor. You will continue driving a wedge between us and all your fears will come true.

I know Paul and Sam and I would like to help build a bridge. Let me know what you want.

Thank you for sharing your perceptions regarding the SAG Firebird Blog. Having read your regular contributions to the "SAG Watchdog," "I Do TV Ads," and "Showfax" sites, we find your pretensions to judge "credibility" highly amusing.

It is unfortunate that you have mistaken the authors’ justifiable outrage at the actions of President Rosenberg and Membership First as nothing more than "rancor" and "divisiveness." That you have gone the extra step to call the people who post on this site liars bespeaks your intolerance of any viewpoint other than your own. Your ‘noble’ offer to start a dialogue after casting such disparagements is icing on the cake.

As to our goal in this endeavor, it is nothing more than to enlighten SAG members across the country as to the character and business practices of the people currently making policy for their union. We are confident that your colleagues from the aforementioned sites will claim these same goals. You will certainly be aware of their various and sundry defamations against our former president and NED(s). We are forced to wonder if you have ever accused any of them of trying to drive a wedge between East and West?

After receiving numerous assurances from various individuals of Membership First, elected representatives of the SAG New York and Regional Branch Divisions entered the National Board room on the morning of October 22nd with the full intention and desire to work with our Hollywood brothers and sisters for the betterment of our Guild. What we were greeted with was an unequivocal betrayal of our trust and promised unity. You will have to pardon us if we don’t just 'shut up and get back on the bus.'
